At Cedar Park Premier Dentistry, Dr. Kondoff provides our teen and adult patients with Invisalign as our preferred clear braces option:
Invisalign clear braces improve your smile by gradually moving your teeth over time. During your treatment, you’ll use a series of custom aligners that exert force on your teeth. You’ll wear your first aligner for a certain number of weeks, and then you’ll graduate to the other aligners in the series until your treatment is complete.
The aligners of Invisalign are made of clear plastic, so many people may not even notice the aligners over your teeth, and they won’t attract people’s attention like metal braces often do. The trays are made to fit over your teeth, and each tray in the series is slightly different to achieve the planned tooth movement. Treatment length varies for each patient, but generally treatment may take between 9 months and a couple years.
