Dental Crown

A woman with shoulder-length blonde hair and a pink shirt smiles at the camera, her confidence revealing a flawless dental crown, against a plain light background.

Cedar Park dentist Dr. Tiffany Kondoff uses dental crowns at her cosmetic and general dentistry practice to strengthen, protect, and beautify your smile. Dental crowns for Round Rock patients are typically used to protect teeth that have been:

Dental crowns are also used to secure dental bridges and to replace missing teeth with both bridges and dental implants. To learn how dental crowns can strengthen and improve the appearance of your smile, please call us to schedule an initial consultation with Cedar Park area dentist Dr. Kondoff.

Our Dental Crowns

At Cedar Park Premier Dentistry, we are dedicated to both the superior function and absolute beauty of your smile. To achieve these goals, Dr. Kondoff offers only the strongest and most attractive dental crowns available. Dr. Kondoff may suggest:

Each of these options provides unique benefits making them better suited for specific placements. Generally, zirconia crowns are advantageous for the molars in the back of your mouth. The zirconia material is beautiful and natural looking, but it’s also durable enough to handle the chewing function of your molars. E-Max porcelain alloy crowns often work well on the front teeth, where your crown must look natural but also be strong. Each of these options can also be colored, sized, and shaped to match adjacent teeth, allowing them to fit flawlessly into your smile.

The Dental Crown Process

Round Rock dental crowns are placed over two office visits. During your first visit, Dr. Kondoff will prepare your tooth and make an impression of your teeth before fitting you with a temporary crown. The impression of your teeth will be sent to one of our dental lab partners where your custom crown or crowns will be created based on Dr. Kondoff’s exact specifications. Once your custom restorations have been received by our office, generally in two to three weeks, you will return for your second visit to have them placed.

Dental crowns offer an incredibly strong and remarkably beautiful solution for many of our patients. Dr. Kondoff would be happy to discuss how dental crowns may be used to improve your smile during your initial consultation.
